Flowers are white in the morning, turning pink and red during midday and afternoon of the same day. Under laboratory conditions, the color change of the petals is slower than that of flowers in outdoor conditions.Flowers often produce bright colors and seductive fragrances to attract pollinators. But they also emit patterns of electrical signals that communicate information to insects. Basically, they tell them how attractive they might be to insects if they are full of pollen.
