Shadowman
The Shadow Man is the story of Alejandro, a man who lives a monotonous and solitary life. One day, a strange shadow detaches itself from him, taking on a life of its own. This shadow is not just a dark reflection, but a version of Alejandro with all the courage, charisma, and audacity he lacks.
At first, Alejandro is fascinated. He watches as his shadow, which he calls Shadow, does everything he always dreamed of but never dared to do: talks to the girl he likes, defends the weak, and goes on exciting adventures. Shadow becomes a heroic figure, admired by everyone in the city.
However, as Shadow becomes more popular and powerful, Alejandro begins to fade. He feels increasingly invisible, and his existence is reduced to a mere shadow of his own. The people of the city forget about him and see only the charismatic Shadow.
The comic's climax comes when Alejandro must make a crucial decision: reclaim his own identity, even if it means confronting the idealized version of himself, or disappear altogether. The story explores themes such as identity, self-esteem, and the dichotomy between who we are and who we pretend to be.
