Iyami Osoronga Aje which is a Yoruban term of respect and endearment used to describe a super powerful society of mostly feminine forces who wields a myriad of arcane creative, biological, spiritual, and cosmic powers. They are often referred to as the "mothers" because of their association with feminine power and the maternal aspects of creation. The Iyami Osoronga are believed to possess deep and esoteric knowledge related to society, healing, and magic. The Iyami are revered as both protectors and enforcers of societal norms and ethical behavior. The relationship between the Iyami Osoronga and the rest of the Orisas is complex. They are often consulted and appeased through ritual offerings to ensure their favor and protection. However, the Iyami are also feared and respected. They are believed to have the ability to bestow blessings, but they can also bring misfortune and sickness if provoked or displeased. Therefore, it is important to approach the Iyami with caution and respect.
