Introduction

Togo, a small West African nation, boasts a rich cultural heritage shaped by its ethnic

diversity, colonial history, and traditional practices. The country is home to over 40 ethnic

groups, including the Ewe, Kabye, Mina, and Tem, each contributing unique traditions,

languages, and values. Togo’s cultural identity is deeply tied to its music, dance, cuisine, and
