Pasaporte al español
Latin American culture should be easy to understand, just go to a food truck, order tacos and you can even use your Spanish to do that. Easy, right?
Well, no. Sorry! Latin America is full of cultural diversity and even the Spanish language is diverse too. You probably tried to understand the difference between salía y salió, so you memorized lists of situations of use, but when speaking to someone you’re still confused with so many tenses… the problem is that “memorization of grammar rules” (unfortunately) does not equal “communication”.
So how can I feel confident communicating as I would do in my own language and start understanding Latin American culture for real?
The good news is: It’s not that difficult of a problem to solve! You just need to understand the message behind the tenses. And you can do that at the same time you learn about Latin American culture…
I’ve been teaching Spanish for years, and am always surprised that people always have the same questions: Why in this country is like this and why in this one is like this? When do I use this tense and when do I use the other past tense? This confusion is what is holding you back in Spanish, and I have the answer for you.
This program has been created for intermediate and advanced students to give you all the basic information about Latin American culture: history, food, traditions, music, art, social movements, language.
And the best part is that it combines that cultural information with lessons about communication so you can start paying attention to the messages behind the tenses and structures to finally practice and speak in a natural way.
Combining these video lessons, along with 8 - 45 minute private sessions and exercises is the perfect combination for input and practice.
By the end of this 8 week program, you’ll be ready for understanding the basics of Latin American culture while getting the big picture of how Spanish verb system works.
