He has over 33 years' experience in international trade, having held positions in market management, consultancy and commercial management in companies in Portugal and Switzerland. He has managed markets in Europe, Latin America, North Africa and Eastern Europe, including the Russian Federation. He has taken part in more than 100 international trade fairs and visited more than 29 countries on business. In Switzerland, he was market manager for one of the most active metalworking trading companies in the automotive, military, health, hydraulics and electronics sectors.
