This book explains the basic concepts, methods, techniques, indicators and strategies adopted by most traders of financial assets listed on stock exchanges, serving as an introductory book for these ends. THE BOOK DEALS ONLY WITH TECHNICAL ANALYSIS!

This book does not intend to be exhaustive or even to derive or explain formulas, and it is best used when complemented with more in-depth and detailed readings of topics in which the reader wishes a greater level of proficiency. Another goal of this book is to compile the maximum information as possible (not exhaustively) in a single material. Therefore, several topics that would otherwise normally be addressed in any book of this nature, will not be presented here, such as categorizing different financial products (for example, options and obligations will not be included in this book), explaining the structure and functioning of the financial market and its agents, measures of market stress, indices and models, risk notation, risk and returns, valuation of bonds, valuation of stocks and companies, etc. Therefore, if the reader is looking for a book that addresses all the theory about the aforementioned topics, this will not be the most suitable one! If the reader is looking for a book with a more direct application, without delving into general theoretical concepts about the financial market, whose purpose is to get familiarized with strategies, practices, indicators, techniques, and basic methods, usually used by investors, this book should suffice.
