Adeildo Silva is married to Sandra Silva and has three children: Matheus, Marcos and Isabella. He is the president of the Santuary of Christ ministry, which is present in five countries: Portugal, England, India, Phillipines and Brazil.

The author gets himself in extreme situations watching a son with leukaemia, the other son with epilepsy and, as if this wasn’t enough, he faces a violent assault where two criminals beats up his wife, and do with her what no one should do with no women. So that brings up a great question which gives this book the title: Where is God?
