A walk through the geodiversity of the Rio de Janeiro seaside

English

This itinerary was created so that anyone, without any previous knowledge of geology, can discover the incredible natural history written on the stones of the Rio de Janeiro seaside. You will learn to identify rocks on the facades of buildings, understand why the hills are the shape they have, and discover where the black and white pieces of the most famous boardwalk in Brazil came from.

Along the way, we will travel about 4 kilometers, from Copacabana Fort to Morro do Leme, with strategic stops for geological observation, beautiful views and historical curiosities.
