CMF: The Design beyond the shape
A complete course on the main materials and production processes used in the industry, with tips from the experience of a professional who has been in the industry for a decade.

Module 01. Basic principles of CMF Design.
Introduction to CMF Design; Target audience, research and background; and Mood boards: creation of inspiration panels
Module 02. Colors
Theory and application of color; The influence of color in culture and brands
Module 03 and 04. Materials and Industrial processes
- Plastics: PP, PE, PS, PC, PVC, SAN. ASA, ABS, PET, PA, PMMA, TPE, PU, silicon, rubber and resins.
-Metals. Steel, aluminum, magnesium, iron, titanium, zinc, copper, bronze, nickel, brass, silver and gold.
- Glass. Vitreous silica, leaded silica, soda-lime silica, alkali silicates, borosilicates and high-performance glasses.
- Wood. Paper, pulp, cork, laminates, composites, hardwoods and softwoods.
- Ceramics. Red and white ceramics, ceramic tiles, refractory materials, thermal insulation, abrasives, lime, cement and high-tech ceramics.
- Fabrics and knitwear. Natural animal, vegetable and mineral fibers; and artificial and synthetic chemical fibers.
- Leather and no-leather. Natural leather, suede, ecological, synthetic.
