In this course you will learn to understand what is meant by a value proposition and how it differs from the traditional corporate mission statement. You will also learn what its main characteristics are, how it fits into a community and why it is so important.
We will also take a look at the key principles of community design and we will take the first steps to define a value proposition. In fact, you will learn how to identify the need, the aggregating factor, and the purpose for starting and growing your community.
In addition, you will be given numerous practical examples to help you make the more theoretical aspects concrete. At the end of class you will have a tool from our community toolkit to help you define your value proposition.
The course is suitable both for those who want to start designing a community, as well as for those who want to grow their community around a value proposition in a more conscious and structured way.
