Describing Financial Performance in English
Describing Financial Performance in English was designed specifically for accountants who are non-native English speakers. This course equips students with the essential frameworks, structures, and technical vocabulary to present their company’s financial results confidently.
This course is ideal for students who need to explain their company’s performance from a profit and loss perspective, whether in written reports or verbal presentations. The concepts in this course can also be applied to cash flow and balance sheet analysis.
Course Methodology:
The course includes 20 comprehensive videos introducing various concepts and technical vocabulary. Each video is followed by a quiz to test your understanding. Students will then apply this knowledge to build a detailed report from scratch, based on the financial data of an imaginary company, ABC Packaging Ltd.
Upon completion, you will receive a reference guide that summarizes all key information learned and a framework that students can easily apply to present the results of their own company.

Writing an engaging opening paragraph
Pyramid Concept: Telling the story and connecting important events

Prerequisites:
Intermediate English proficiency is necessary, all videos contain subtitles in English.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
