Emotional Gardening - Cultivation of affection and good living

English

Inside us there is an inner garden, sensitive and resilient at the same time. Since we were children we have cultivated it, according to the values we received in our environment. At times, this garden flourished in harmony. At other times, it agonised like a desert of shadows.

The Via Andina is inspired by the peasants, and their relationship with the land is not only productive, that which feeds their children, but also poetic, that which is cultivated in the heart.

The metaphor of the Garden is the music that will guide us into the rich and fertile affective sphere. In Emotional Gardening we learn to identify the seed-emotions, to plant them in the fertile soil of our sensitive garden at the right time and place, to let them grow under our care, to be moved by their flowering and fructification.

Our emotional life is fundamental to give meaning to what we do. Developing it with the soft, dedicated and humble work of a gardener, of a farmer, is the possibility to open a poetic way to find ourselves again in harmony.

In this 8-week programme in 4 modules we will develop different perspectives of the affective experience: psychoanalysis, Taoism, Transpersonal psychology, Kabalah, shamanism from all over the world, within the framework of Andean philosophy. We will also expand the experience through other languages such as the ritual movements of KAY (Andean K'anchary Yoga), contemplative meditations, creative writing and intuitive gardening.

In times when sensitivity transbends to uncontrolled levels, cultivating emotions is essential to be able to assume what comes with surrender, without domination or control, and finally find the simple paths of a Good Life.
