Festas Brasileiras

A musical journey through 11 rhythms and songs of Brazilian culture.

The rhythms are organized individually, in sequence for each instrument, and are followed by a musical score that displays the percussion ensemble to demonstrate the interactions between the various instruments.

Each festa contains a rhythm as well as a song, with arrangements for choir, xylophone, or marimbas.

At the end of each festa, you will find suggestions for the teacher on how to best prepare a student presentation that combines voice, percussion, melodic instruments, and lots of dance.
