(English) Grammar Essentials 1

(English) Grammar Essentials 1 is intended for learners of all levels who wish to learn English by 'thinking in English' as opposed to 'translating into English'. Our unique approach (we like to think of it as ‘Lego blocks’ approach) combines our adult understanding of the world and a child-like sequence of exploring it through language.

The course is delivered in 20 modules of pre-recorded and written materials totalling over 1000 minutes of in-depth explanations, guided practice, as well as follow up exercises and quizzes.

This course aims to help you create the foundations for a deeper understanding and practical use of individual grammar elements (i.e. nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs), language functions (i.e. descriptions, modifications), tenses, coherence and cohesion, as well as clear explanations of confusing grammar points (i.e. countable and uncountable nouns), and more.
