Introduction

Guinea, located in West Africa, is a culturally diverse nation known for its rich traditions,

music, and deep connection to its natural environment. With over 24 ethnic groups, the

largest being the Fulani, Malinke, and Soussou, Guinea’s culture is a vibrant tapestry of

languages, customs, and beliefs. The country’s cultural identity has been shaped by its

history, including pre-colonial kingdoms, French colonization, and independence in 1958.
