Parents & Kids Jiu-Jitsu — The Leão Teixeira Method
Build Confidence. Create Connection. Share Jiu-Jitsu Together.
What if some of the most valuable lessons your child could learn happened on the mat — with you by their side?
Parents & Kids Jiu-Jitsu — The Leão Teixeira Method is a guided training experience designed to help parents and children learn, move, play, and grow together through jiu-jitsu.
Led by Master Leão Teixeira, a pioneer in children’s jiu-jitsu education with decades of experience, the program brings his unique teaching approach directly to families.
Rather than simply adapting adult jiu-jitsu for kids, Master Leão’s methodology is built around how children learn, move, interact, and develop.
Inside the program, parents and children explore three key areas:
• Group Activities — playful exercises that develop movement, coordination, reactions, and confidence.
• Self-Defense — age-appropriate concepts that build awareness and fundamental defensive skills.
• Jiu-Jitsu Skill Stations — fundamental techniques taught through structured, engaging training activities.
You’ll also receive bonus training sessions and additional techniques to keep learning together.
But this is about more than jiu-jitsu.
It’s about creating meaningful time with your child while developing confidence, discipline, coordination, body awareness, problem-solving skills, and a positive relationship with movement.
No previous jiu-jitsu experience is required.
You don’t need to be an instructor. You don’t even need to know jiu-jitsu.
All you need is a little space, your child, and the willingness to learn together.
Learn together. Grow together. Create memories that last far beyond the mat.
