Kids Jiu-Jitsu Instructor Development Program
The Kids Jiu-Jitsu Instructor Development Program is designed for Jiu-Jitsu instructors and academy owners who want to build better, more structured, and age-appropriate kids classes.
Developed by Master Leão Teixeira, IBJJF 8th Degree Red-and-White Belt, the program brings more than 30 years of experience teaching Jiu-Jitsu to children into a proven methodology that instructors can learn and apply directly on the mats.
Teaching kids takes more than knowing Jiu-Jitsu. It requires understanding how children learn, how to communicate with different age groups, how to structure a class, and how to create the right technical progression.
The program is organized by age and stage of development.
AGES 3–6
Learn age-appropriate class structure, teaching strategies, movements, techniques, and methods designed specifically for young children.
AGES 7–9
Develop your students through a structured curriculum covering teaching methodology, Self-Defense, and Sport Jiu-Jitsu.
Inside the program, you'll learn how to:
• Structure effective and consistent kids classes
• Teach according to each stage of development
• Improve communication and instruction for children
• Build a clear technical progression
• Integrate Self-Defense and Sport Jiu-Jitsu
• Become a more confident kids instructor
• Build a stronger kids program at your academy
This is more than a collection of techniques. It's a teaching methodology built and refined through 30+ years of real experience on the mats.
Learn the methodology. Apply it on your mats. Build a better kids Jiu-Jitsu program.
