Step 4 - Watch the episode once with German and English subtitles

You'll understand a lot more now. You can read but focus on listening.

Step 5 - Watch the episode with English subtitles at least once

At the same time, read the word-for-word translation and listen to the corresponding German word.

Step 6 - Watch the episode with German subtitles at least once

You will now understand the meaning of the words. Focus on listening and not reading.

Step 7 - Actively answer simple questions about the episode using Quizlet

You can actively learn and answer the questions yourself with Quizlet.

Step 8 - Watch the episode again without subtitles

And now you should understand much more than the first time. Consider this as a feeling of success.

Step 9 - Retell the story in present and past tense using Quizlet

In this step you must retell the story. And at the same time, you intensively practice changing a sentence from the present to the past tense.
