FACTORY PATCHES

Birdland Instruments meticulously selected and sampled 31 original factory patches from 1984.

EXCLUSIVE

The 43 exclusive patches were developed using PPG Wavetables, Prophet VS Waveforms and samples direct from Hardware Oberheim Matrix 1000. All sampled on Mirage, resulting in unique gritty and lush 8-bit sounds.

BONUS

8 performances patches and more the "Sarrar" patch, famous voice sound from Fairlight, sampled on Mirage from original sample file.

HOW LOAD THE PACK?

The pack is for Tal-Sampler. A VST that emulates the vintage sampler behavior. It allows you adjust filters and envelopes, with a monster matrix. The software is not included.

WHO USE MIRAGE?

It was first used by Prince on Around The World In A Day, and again in 1986 on the Sign O The Times album. The Jimmy Jam (Janet Jackson's producer) used the Mirage on Rhythm Nation 1814 and Control.

THE MORE YOU KNOW

TAL Sampler packs can sometimes be used in your DAW using the sampled WAV files within the pack. These are often not edited for this purpose nor keyed, so do not buy this pack for that sole intention, this is inherently a TAL Sampler pack.
