Roadside Ready – English for Truck Drivers

Roadside Ready is a practical self-study English program designed for non-native commercial truck drivers operating in the United States.

Through 12 visual lessons, guided audio and realistic practice activities, drivers learn how to understand and respond clearly during roadside stops, DOT inspections, weigh station procedures and other essential trucking situations.

The training covers common officer commands and questions, personal and trip information, documents, logbooks, cargo, routes, vehicle parts, safety inspections, mechanical defects, emergencies and communication with dispatchers and roadside assistance.

Each lesson combines essential vocabulary, realistic dialogues, model answers, listening practice and visual exercises that drivers can complete independently and at their own pace.

A Start Here guide is included in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

This is not a general English course. It focuses specifically on the language commercial drivers may need on the road.
