Saint Cyprian
Saint Cyprian, bishop of Antioch, went down in history as a martyr and gained fame as the world's most well-known magician. Born in the 3rd century, he was introduced early on to the brotherhood of magicians and, after a stay among the Persians, learned the arts of divination and invocation. Around the age of 30, Cyprian went to Babylon, where he met the witch Evora. Cyprian developed his premonitory abilities and other skills in the arts of witchcraft according to the mystical traditions of the Chaldeans. Legend says that he managed to bring about the downfall of many beautiful young women, which greatly pleased the demons, who in return granted him great supernatural powers. With all this power, Cyprian built a career as a very famous sorcerer, producing numerous feats that earned him the reputation of a great wizard.
However, the faith of a woman who resisted his charms led Cyprian to convert to Christianity. Both would die for their faith in 304 BC. The cult of Saint Cyprian arrived in Brazil with the Portuguese exiles, persecuted by the Inquisition. In their memory they carried the Cyprian formulas, prayers and magic, however, the first "books of Saint Cyprian" arrived here much later.
The book of Saint Cyprian is a compilation of the teachings of this great magician, bringing to new generations a bit of the history and legacy of one of the greatest names in occultism.
