Sign Language for Babies (English)

English

If you have at least a baby in your daily life, there’s one thing that you know: tons of patience is necessary.

Sometimes (or even every time) you don't have a clue about what they want when they frown and open their mouth to make that shrill sound. You check their diaper and also their temperature, try to offer them food (they might drop everything on the ground), you put them down for a nap (their faces turn reddish as they have a breakdown), and some parents might even take their child to the IR or call the family doctor.

Whatever they wanted, had it been some water, cuddling, or even if they were afraid of an ordinary sound, how could they tell you? The most natural thing for a baby to do is cry, but what does that serve for if you do not know what they need?

Won't it be great if your baby learns to sign when he's done with that meal? Sign when he is sleepy, when he feels starving or thirsty? How many breakdowns could you avoid by doing that? Why would you live in such frustration for both of you?
