Malocclusions in transverse or horizontal plane is considered the highest and first critical point when we are planning to correct any type of malocclusion as we all know that correction of posterior cross bite should be done before 13-14 years of patient old, upper arch expansion in adults without surgical intervention was so difficult and if that’s happened, the stability and retention of the results is questionable. Marpe is considered now one of the most useful technique to avoid big surgical procedure to correct posterior cross bite and also, useful to advance upper arch in class iii cases with maxillary deficiencies and nowadays the huge development in digital dentistry playing an important roles to have a successful and predictable results, started from diagnosis, planning and designing, printing to have accurate insertion in the patient mouth and to get the successful results.
