Because of our patients' increasing aesthetic demands, it's critical that orthodontists should understand and adapt some principles from other specialties such as cosmetic dentistry.

Therefore contemporary diagnosis and treatment in orthodontics must be expanded to evaluate what so called “pink and white balance” in the analysis of an orthodontic problem.

The mean goal of this lecture is to make a zoom on some of the principals of gingival appearance and tooth morphology then to demonstrate how to use them in order to achieve the most beautiful results and make patients’ smiles stand out.
