The Lord's Prayer for Young Disciples

If you teach the Lord's Prayer to children, you know that words like hallowed and daily bread can leave them confused. These eight lessons, for children from about 6 to 12, take one part of the prayer at a time and last 15 to 25 minutes each. Every lesson gives the adult a clear goal, a short explanation, three questions, a simple hands-on activity, a drawing to make together and a closing prayer. The materials are everyday objects such as paper, cups and beans, with guidance on keeping each conversation safe and respectful.
