The Lord's Prayer — Petition by Petition, from the Text to Prayer

This is a complete study of the prayer Jesus taught, in Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4, examined petition by petition. It is written for the Christian who already knows the Lord's Prayer by heart and wants to pray it with understanding, and for the leader who needs to teach others how to pray.

Throughout the study you walk through the whole prayer: The Whole Portrait, Our Father Which Art in Heaven, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done, Our Daily Bread, Forgive Us Our Debts, Lead Us Not into Temptation, Jesus Praying and The Portrait Lived Out. Each unit comes with a one-page Card and five steps: the text, the meaning, Jesus, the Spirit, and the week.

An ideal study for anyone who wants to pray with more understanding and consistency, to teach this prayer at home, in a small group, or in church, always grounded in the Word of God.
