The story of Krishna

Take your child on a coloring journey to India! This printable coloring book tells 12 short legends of Krishna, one of the most beloved figures of the Hindu tradition: the stormy night he was born, the crossing of the Yamuna River, his butter-loving mischief, the flute music that made the animals stop to listen, and the hill he lifted like an umbrella to protect his village.

Each page has an easy-to-read story, a large illustration to color, and a value to talk about at home or in class: family, courage, honesty, friendship, justice and caring for animals.

The stories are told as legends and cultural knowledge, so children from any family can learn about the tales and customs of another part of the world.
