TOPOGRAPHIC TRIANGULATION

To carry out the surveying of large land areas, the technique that inherently offers the best advantages is TRIANGULATION. This method allows for controlling and supporting the entire planimetric survey, not only of large areas but also of medium-sized tracts where polygonal surveying would be uneconomical due to rugged terrain, obstacles hindering side measurements of the network, or other factors making polygonal surveys nearly impracticable.
