Anatoly Fomenko books part 2/2

Português

Fomenko asserts that the accepted historical chronology is deeply flawed, and that many events of “ancient” history (Greece, Rome, Egypt, etc.) are either duplicates of later events or were wrongly dated.

He uses statistical and astronomical methods (e.g. analyzing eclipse records, astronomical catalogs, zodiac / star configurations) to attempt to “re-date” historical events and collapse large chunks of what is now considered antiquity and the Middle Ages into a much shorter time span.

For example, he claims that Jesus lived in the 12th century AD (rather than in the 1st century), and suggests that many supposed “ancient” empires are fictional or misdated copies of later ones.

He also disputes many standard dating methods, such as radiocarbon dating, dendrochronology, and conventional interpretations of historical records.
