How do the new payment methods work for the European territory?

For which countries is this option available?

This payment method is available for countries that are part of the EU and its associated territories, including: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (including Ceuta, Canary Islands and Melilla), Estonia, Finland (including Äland islands) France (including overseas territories French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Mayotte, Réunion, St. Bartholomew, St. Martin, St. Pierre and Miquelon), Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal (including Azores and Madeira), United Kingdom (including Gibraltar, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey), Czech Republic, Ireland, Sweden, Bulgaria and Romania and Croatia.

2) “Multibanco” system in Portugal:

“Multibanco” is a very well known interbank system in Portugal that provides a wide range of payment services.

A lot of Portugal residents prefer to pay for their online purchases via transfer, therefore, a Multibanco reference is issued. Then, they can use a Multibanco ATM or the homebanking service on their computer or smartphone to make the payment. Therefore, Producers and Affiliates who offer this option for their Portuguese customers have a considerable advantage.

Hotmart already offers local payment options such as Boleto Bancário (for Brazil), Oxxo (for Mexico) and Baloto (for Colombia),  and now Multibanco offers buyers in Portuguese territory the option to pay for their purchases through a Multibanco reference code.
