Hotmart is an Online Education company with more than 200 thousand courses registered on its platform. These courses are created, managed, and marketed by people we call Producers, who are responsible for the content and promotion of the courses.

A product can have its sales suspended for three main reasons:

The Producer ended sales for the product;
The Producer deleted the product;
Hotmart blocked the Product for failing to comply with the Terms of Use.

The first two cases are controlled by the Producer, who may have chosen to close the online course temporarily or even exclude the content according to their sales and promotion strategy.

The third case is decided by the Risk & Compliance team at Hotmart. This team assesses whether a Product is in accordance with our Terms of Use.

If any infraction is observed, the team may take several measures that are essential for Hotmart, our users, and especially our buyers to have access to products and promotional means that are transparent, ethical, and responsible.

Reasons that can lead to an account being blocked at Hotmart

The main reasons for blocking an account are:

Promotional SPAM in which a user sends messages to a contact list that is not their’s or repeatedly sends messages in inboxes, comment boards, and social network groups without that group’s consent, for example.
Promotional material that uses the Hotmart brand, leading a Buyer to believe that Hotmart has an authoring relationship with that product or ad.
Promotional material that promises guaranteed results and/or promises of easy earnings depending on the purchase or use of the product.
Promotional material that offers the opportunity to affiliate with the purchased product as the main benefit of the purchase.
As you can imagine, all of these practices, in addition to violating our Terms of Use, lack ethical and responsible conduct with the audience.

Do I have to pay a monthly fee or a membership fee to use Hotmart?

No, Hotmart is free to sign up. You can create or join an online course without paying anything for it. We only charge a 9.90% + USD $0.50 fee on the amount of the sale you make using our services. That is: if you don’t sell anything, you won’t be charged for anything.

Can a Hotmart employee offer me income online or a job if I purchase a product?

Be careful, our employees never contact people promising earnings online or jobs if a product is purchased. Our Talent team only contacts job seekers and all of our vacancies are listed on our official website, free of charge.

Is it possible to teach and learn through the Hotmart platform?
